( lo troverai tra i miei libri = you'll find it among my books). Si noti però che si usa between anche quando tra indica una distribuzione o uno sforzo combinato che coinvolge più di due persone: dividete il profitto tra voi tre = share the profit between the three of you; tra noi cinque non mettiamo insieme 10 euro = we do not have 10 euros between the five of us. - Quando tra compare in particolari locuzioni (come tra parentesi, tra la vita e la morte, ecc.), è opportuno consultare le voci relative (parentesi, vita, ecc.).
